Fairies are bi-pedal humanoids. Their size is tiny by most racial standards. A mature Fairy generally stands between 1 to 2 feet tall.
They normally have a fragile build. The average male Fairy weighs between 10 to 15 pounds. Females average between 7 to 12 pounds.
Their eye coloring varies widely. Their vision is very keen reaching into the IR spectrum.
Fairies typically share the same skin tones as humans however bright colors are not uncommon. Their hair is generally very long.
A Fairies life span is typically 150 to 200 years. Few adventuring Fairies live this long.
Fairies generally prefer to live in forested regions. Especially ones located in temperate climates. They are herbivorous surviving off local vegetation.
Key Features: Fairies are distinguished by their small size and butterfly-like wings. Fairies are sometimes mistaken for Pixies however their slightly larger bodies and the difference in their wings will be recognized by those who know how to distinquish the two races.

His people may have another name which they call themselves. But if he looks like what other worlds consider an "Elf" that is what he will be considered by the city of Nessus and the game. Some races may share "Key Features" in those cases the stereo-typical information wil be used to give a creature a label. Creatures which dont seem to fit into any catagory will be considered Mystical Creatures.
