Demons are bi-pedal humanoids. Their size is large by most racial standards. A mature Demon generally stands between 6 and a half to 7 and a half feet tall.

They normally have a muscular build. The average male Demon weighs between 325 to 350 pounds. Females average between 200 to 240 pounds.

Their eye coloring varies widely. Their vision is very keen but does not reach into the IR spectrum.

Demons typically have dark colored skin. This shade is normally deep red or dark blue. Their hair is coarse and thick. It comes in all lengths but most let it grow into a thick mane. Facial hair is possible but rare.

A Demon does not die of natural causes. While they are immortal they are not indestructable. A weapon has the same effect on a Demon as it does on any other race.

Demons generally prefer to live underground or in areas with extreme climates. They are omniverous surviving off both animals and vegetation.

Demons are very adaptable creatures. They have a high tolerance for both hot and cold. Most also have the ability to survive in atmospheres which would be toxic to more fragile races.

Some Demons possess wings. These are normally black and bat-like.

Key Features: Demons are distinguished by their horns. The appearance of these horns will vary from small nubbs to large and ram like but they are always present. Demons have sharp fang-like canines. They also have clawed fingers however these are sometimes filed down.

Note: All races will vary from world to world. Almost everything listed above is stereo typical information. Only information listed as "Key Features" will be a constant as these things are what universally cause a creature to be labelled a certian race. An Elf may not have ever heard the term "Elf". His people may have another name which they call themselves. But if he looks like what other worlds consider an "Elf" that is what he will be considered by the city of Nessus and the game. Some races may share "Key Features" in those cases the stereo-typical information wil be used to give a creature a label. Creatures which dont seem to fit into any catagory will be considered Mystical Creatures.
