Tears for reasoning that is unknown
Tears for the lives that were lost
Tears for people that paid the cost
Will we ever know why they hijacked those planes?
And what happened next tells me they were insane
They crashed into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon too
Did they fully understand what they were about to do?
The lives of many people were changed
People full of emotion is what remains
Prayers for the ones who lost their lives
Prayers for their families who will now deal with the strife
Prayers for the terrorists who made us cry
Prayers for an answer to the question "why?"
