| After the mishap with King Boo in Luigi's Mansion, Mario felt that he really needed a vacation. He boarded a plane with the Princess and her loyal servant, Toadsworth. Mario thought that he would be relaxing at the beach and eating sea-food but when he got there, Mario saw graffiti everywhere! To make matters worse, there is an imposter Mario who not only painted the graffiti, but has stolen Isle Delfino's Shine Sprites! Now it's up to Mario, equipped with FLUDD (a hi-tech water pack) to clear his name and restore all of the Shine Sprites! |

| THE GAME CONTROLS A- Jump B- Slide (press B repeatedly to break dance)/Talk Y- Access Map of the island X- Change FLUDD nozzles L- Change camera angle R- Squirt water Start- Pause the game ITEMS OF IMPORTANCE Coins- Recover health. Red Coins- Collect all of them in one area to get something good. Blue Coins- Allows you to save your game. Can trade for Shine Sprites. Shine Sprites- Get them by beating bosses or by finding them in secret places. Sunglasses- They come in handy when out in the hot sun. JUMP COMBOS Press A 3 times to do a really high jump. Press A then rotate the Control Stick to Spin Jump. Press B repeatedly, then press A to jump back up again. |
| GAME TIPS/CODES After beating the game, you can get a pair of sunglasses. There is a place on the roof tops where there is an Isle Delfino local who will want to throw you for only 1 coin. Accept his offer and get a Shine Sprite! |
