| To unlock the classic Super Mario Kart tracks, get over 100 coins in any of the cups (Mushroom, Flower, Lightning, Star, and Special) to get four at a time. If you unlock Super Mario Kart tracks in the 150 cc Class, then you will get the tracks in the Time Trial too! |

| --Master the spin turn. Press A+B and Left or Right. This move can also be used in Mario Kart 64. --Press and hold R to jump, then press Left or Right to Power Slide. --Press A before Lakitu's traffic light says "Go" (the green light) to get a boost. --Win enough cups to change the look of the title screen (from blue sky to orange sky). |
| Highlight Quick Run and press Select. Now you'll have access to a Quick Run Options Menu. |
| --If you run over a Bananna peel, press B for the brakes. If a musical note appears over your character's head, you'll be singing with success. This trick also works with Mario Kart 64. --Test Run: Highlight a character, then press L, R, or Select to "test run." |
