| The Kirby Anime premiered on Fox on September 14th, 2002. The show follows the games OK, the voices are somewhat fitting for the characters. | CAST OF CHARACTERS: Kirby- A Warpstar Knight in training and our Roly Poly hero! He can copy the bad guys' powers by vacuuming them! Tiff- Kirby's friend. She does all she can to protect her pink buddy. Tuff- Always ready for adventure. Pals around with Tiff and Kirby. Fololo and Falala- The Lololo twins. Friends of Tiff and Tuff. King Dedede- The king of Pop Star. He does evil deeds in secret. Escargoon- King Dedede's main man... er, snail! Dishes out just as much abuse as he takes. Sir Ebrum- Works for King Dedede. He lives in the castle. Lady Like- Also works for the King. She is very clueless of King Dedede's evil deeds. Meta Knight- Mysterious warrior. Is he friend, or foe? Sword Knight and Blade Knight- A duo of knights who pal around with Meta Knight. Tokkori- A yellow bird who thinks he's the best. He sides with no one. Waddle Dee- King Dedede's gaurd. N.M.E. Salesguy- He sells monsters to King Dedede. His origin is unknown. Rick- Kirby's hamster friend. Coo- Kirby's owl companion. Kine- Kirby's fish buddy. Cop- He tries to keep the law and order in Cappy Town. Melvin- A mailman who works around the clock, delivering mail throughout Dream Land. Dynablade- A mystical bird who hasn't come to Cappy Town in 100 years! Mr.Curio- A Cappy archaeologist/scientist/historian who owns an antique store. Kabu- When Dream Landers lack wisdom, they go see him for advice. Knuckle Joe- A fighter, who is the son of a legendary star warrior. |

| Explanation to the N.M.E. pun: N.M.E. (NightMare Enterprises) sounds like "enemy" when you say it fast. Meta Knight's origin (according to the show): Meta Knight was a WarpStar Knight before Kirby, fighting off the monsters created by N.M.E. All of the other WarpStar Knights died, except for Meta Knight. He drove his spaceship throughout the galaxy and eventually ended up in Dream Land. More puns: Sir Ebrum sounds like "cerebrum." Lady Like as in "lady-like." Tuff as in "tough." Kirby and the Lololo twins' origins (according to the show): Kirby was created by N.M.E. during the time Meta Knight was fighting the monsters they created. However, Kirby was a defect because he wouldn't obey his master's orders. Kirby somehow donned a spaceship and ended up on Pop Star. Fololo and Falala were once one creature, but before they were delivered to King Dedede, they were split in two. |
