| This game for the Nintendo Famicom was going to be released in the United States but unfortunetly, something happened... The game prototype slipped out of Nintendo of America's hands and it was auctioned off and then, that's when it happened, it was dumped into a ROM and was hacked into, given the name EarthBound Zero, because there was a game for the Super Nintendo called EarthBound. The game was called Mother in Japan and spawned a sequel for the Super Famicom called Mother 2: Gyig Strikes Back. Unfortunetly, Mother 3: The Fall Days of the Pig King was cancelled. |
