Loid is simply put, a nerd. His offense is rather weak, his defense is rather weak, and he is unable to use PSI. He is still a good character, as he is able to use bottle rockets and fire power in battles. He is the second character to join your party. However, when Jack joins your party, he dissapears, and when Jack leaves your party, he reappears. There is no explination to what happens to where he disappears.
To get Loid to join your party, you must bring him a bottle rocket, which can be found in Ducan's Factory. You can find him in a garbage can (yes, a garbage can) on the roof of his school. After giving him the bottle rocket, he will get out of the garbage can and join your party.
