This website is a collection of all resources you wil need for the NES. However, knowing myself, this will take a very long time to complete.
For now, here are useful links for the NES.

Miscellaneous Info
- Dimentions: 8" X 10" X 3.5"
Note the cartridge slot door adds an additional 1" to the height of the system. Make sure to account for that so you don't break off the door or chip/crack/damage.
- All the screws are the same in the system except for 2 silver screws holding down the loading tray. The screws are 5/8 inch and the 2 different screws are "insert here". You can buy a set of the screws here if you can't go to a hardware store.
- The NES only supports composite and RF stock. The top loader only supports RF stock. Some systems support RGB out of the box, but the NES does not.
- You can use a North American Sega Genesis power supply on the NES. The bridge rectifier in the NES converts AC to DC and DC to DC. The Genesis power supply outputs DC, so the NEs accepts it. Output of the Genesis power supply is: 9V - 1.2 Amp (1602-1, second revision of psu: 10V - 1.2 Amp). This is about where you want to be when finding a 3rd party AC adapter for the NES. Remember, the NES has a internal voltage regulator that scales down the power to 5V. This will produce a little more heat for the system then the regular AC adapter, but the heat causes no harm.
- When modding the NES, many people recommend soldering to ground. Around the outside of the motherboard is a great way to ground the system.
- The NES had about 800 games, 500 of them sucked. Please do research before buying a certain game.
