Chapter 39: Misunderstanding

"Don't you ever touch my girlfriend again you bastard!" Joey yelled as he saw JC fall to the ground in pain, holding his nose.

"Girlfriend? When did she become your girlfriend?" JC muttered out of his clasped together hands.

"Just now, come on Andy," he took her into the bathroom in the back and started to clean her out. But him and Andrea didn't notice what JC saw after they left.

A large baggie full of weed on the floor that Andrea had dropped.

"Andy, I won't let him touch you again," Joey got a paper towel and stuck it on her nose, adding pressure to it. The blood had dripped on her dress and it fearfully made him remember the day her best friend died.

"Joey, I'll be okay, don't take care of me," she held her fingers over her own nose, adding her own pressure to it and Joey released his hand from her. She didn't hurt too much in the stomach, just a little bit, it was mostly numb and it was already forming a bruise in the shape of JC's knee. Joey looked down at her and there were dried tears on Andrea's cheeks as she released the bloody towel from her nose. Her bleeding had stopped, "I'll be out in a minute. Let me freshen up."

Joey walked quietly out of the bathroom, blowing her a kiss before he walked out and she sighed, "Man, I'm sorry Justin, but I really need some weed right about now!"

She started to dig through her purse, looking for the baggie, and she started to grunt frustratedly. She couldn't seem to find it and it was making her upset. She looked through her purse again, taking out all its contents, the compacts, the assorted shades of lipsticks and blushes, mascaras, and her wallet with other little things and saw no trace of it. She calmly walked out of the bathroom and asked Justin if he could come in and talk to her for a minute.

Anyone who broke her trust would be severely busted. Someone had stolen her weed. But why Justin of all people? Did he not want her to do it so bad that he took it from her so that she wouldn't? She'd teach him a lesson he wouldn't forget.
