Chapter 22: False Situation

Joey's point of view of the situation

Joey wondered what Andrea was doing at the moment as he was still walking down the side of the road. He was dying for a cigarette, he hadn't smoked in days. He occasionally smoked and didn't tell the guys because he knew he would get a speech from them about keeping their throats clear and your mind focused. Joey wasn't in the mood for a lecture. He kept rubbing his hands together because of the cold and the thought that Andrea was somewhere out in the cold, too. He wanted to wrap his arms around her to keep her warm.

He had to find her.

He was nearing the tents quickly about 4 blocks from where they slept last night. He heard a high pitched scream from the tents and Joey got scared. He saw Andrea stumble from behind the tents, clutching her arm in pain with blood dripping out of it, with blood already stained on her jeans. Blood was also dormant in her hair and on her face as she let out a blood curdling scream, running into the tent.

Joey at this point started to run towards the tents to the woman he loved. When he finally reached the tents, Andrea was curled in a ball, bleeding profusely with another dead body of a young girl in the tent as well.

"Andrea? Are you okay?" he ran over to her, trying to lift her up, but she was crying hysterically.

"Oh Joey, it was horrible, just horrible, a massacre I tell you, a massacre, it was horrible," Andrea cried out in a hysterical tone, tears pouring out of her eyes as she let blood drip out of her arm all over her hand, running on Joey's clothes.

"It's okay, Andy, just tell me everything�"
