*Meanwhile*
Mandie walked in the bedroom to see Lance with his back turned to her. He was sitting on the edge of the bed. She climbed on the bed and wrapped her arms around the back of him, "I've missed you."
"Oh hey!" he exclaimed, putting down his magazine and turning around to greet her with a deep kiss, "Are you okay? Did you get hurt? I missed you so much!"
"Man, you are totally sprung on me!" Mandie giggled and buried her head into Lance's chest. He started to rub her back lightly after the hard day they all had been through.
"No better person to be sprung on," Lance smiled down to her, kissing the top of her head. They stayed in this position for a few minutes, just treasuring the moment they were together that might not have happened. Mandie fell asleep in his comforting arms. Lance silently laid her down and laid with her stroking her hair slightly. He started singing "Falling" gently in his rich bass voice. Justin quietly snuck in the room, smiling at the loving scene between the two. They belonged together.
"Hey," Justin whispered and sat on the bed gently, "I need some advice."
"Shoot," Lance whispered, letting his arms gently unwrap from around Mandie, trying not to wake her up.
"I'm in love with Cass, but she's not in love with me, I don't even know if she has feelings for me, what do you think I should do?" Justin asked, running a frustrated hand through his curls.
"Personally JustinI think you should...at least try to get out how she really feels."
"But how can I do that?"
"Take her out."
"What if she doesn't want to?" Justin sunk onto the bed quietly and started to let his tears out of his eyes.
"Dude, are you crying?" Lance leaned over and looked over Justin, "Over Cass? She would NEVER want you to cry over her."
"But things have been so, you know, strange with her, I go from not knowing her to hating her to loving her in less than 24 hours, wouldn't that make a guy confused?"
"Just take her out to breakfast, damnit," Lance tried to shoo him away.
"Oh I get it," Justin smirked, "Lance wants to be alone with Mandie," he said in a sing-song voice.
"So is there a problem with that?"
"Not really."
"That's what I thought...LEAVE" Lance said in almost a whisper.
"Okay you little horny thing, I'll go," Justin snickered and snuck out of the door.
"Oy," Lance muttered and turned back to the girl with her head in his lap. He smiled down at her before resting his own head on the pillow. He was just thankful she was alive. Minutes later they were asleep in each other's arms...Mandie fit perfectly by his sideand he wanted it to be like that for a long time.
Justin went to the restroom first and then came back to meet up with Cass. He smiled as he peeked through a crack in the door and then turned back to Cass, who was smoothing out her hair with help from her compact, "So, you want to-"
"Want to what? Get some sleep?" Cass asked, finally finished with her hair, "I've been up since 5AM this morning, I need some sleep."
"I was going to ask if you wanted to get some breakfast or something," Justin replied defensively and raised his arms in defense as well.
"Sure but promise me one thing"
"What?" he asked.
"When we get home we sleep."
"Alright," Justin smiled as he felt the morning sunrise filter in through the curtains, "Let's go like, go get some famous French pastries."
"You're such a dork," Cass laughed and got up to walk out with Justin, feeling like she wasn't being completely honest with him about how she felt. She was so afraid of being open around him because it would make her look weak, and she of course didn't want that. She didn't want anyone worrying about her especially Justin and what happened that past day.
"Listen Cass," Justin cleared his throat.
"Yah?"
"Never mind."
"No what J?"
"You already know," he quietly said.
"Yeah, that," they walked into the lobby of the hotel and Justin quietly slipped on his hat and sunglasses as she was glad no one knew who she was in France, "I haven't been completely honest with you."
"There's no reason you shouldn't be honest with me Cass," he looked down at her through the sunglasses and felt the warmth of the sunrise on their shoulders.
"Well, that thing with Brad keeps me from letting guys close to me," Cass tried to get out slowly and calm, "But somehow, you've gotten past all that. I don't know how, you just have."
"What are you trying to say to me Cass?" they stopped in front of a small caf.
"Well...um..." Cass just couldn't get it out, "I...umm..."
"Yes?" Justin questioned, a glimmer of hope in his eyes in anticipation of what she might say appeared.
