"You guys quit it," Lance held Justin back with all his might.
"Fuck you Lance...let me at her!"
"Hell NO!" Lance yelled, "What the fuck is up with you Justin?"
"Who cares that bitch insulted me for the last time!"
"Justin...sit and calm down," Lance sat next to him. "Now what happened?"
"She just HAD to bring up Britney!" Justin yelled and Cass just stuck out her tongue like a child.
"What do you mean? What did she say?"
"She just said, 'I'm sorry you and Britney broke up' and I hate hearing Britney's name right now!" Justin covered his ears, tears brimming up to the edges of his eyes.
"That's no fucking reason to try to hit Cass," Lance grabbed Justin's hands and made him look at Lance, "Cass cares for you. She's been a huge fan of yours for years. I'd know, Mandie told me. Give the damn girl a chance, dumass," he ended up hitting him lightly on the head.
"Thanks Lance."
"For what J?"
"Knocking some sense into me..."
"No biggy. Someone had to do it, it might as well of been me" Lance got up and walked to where he could see the TV... He could tell Carson was in "Flirt Mode Major"... his hand was around Mandie's waist... he couldn't take his eyes off of her.
"Hello, hello and welcome to a HUGE episode of TRL, this lucky lady is Mandie Monroe, what's up Mandie?" Carson laid on the charm for the in studio audience and for Mandie.
"I'm doing good today, how are you Carson?" she asked back, pulling out of his embrace. Now she felt these weird vibes from Carson that Justin had felt before.
"Very good, Mandie, why don't you introduce our guests today?"
"Sure, um, today we'll have upcoming singer and good friend of mine, Cass Blake," and there was a little bit of cheering in the studio, "And then we'll have Sir Elton John and Mr. Justin Timberlake, hand delivering the premiere of "This Train Don't Stop There Anymore"," and there was a lot of shrill screaming.
Mandie laughed and plugged her ears, "Wow Carson, if I mention the word *NSYNC," the crowd started to cheer loudly, "Ok guess that answered my question... Wow I forgot to introduce me," Mandie laughed, "Well I'm me and I'm a model... but lets get to your number 10 video which is Shakira's "Whenever Wherever" "
As the video came on, Carson's hand went straight back around Mandie's waist. Mandie started to get a little suspicious, "Um, Carson, what are you doing?"
"Oh come on Mandie, you're cool with this, we've got to show the viewers we're friends," Carson slyly replied.
"But we just met, would you mind?" Mandie pulled out of his embrace again and the crowd 'oooed'.
"Mandie, just cooperate," he stated as the cameras went back on them, "Okay, that was Shakira's "Whenever, Wherever', and now we have a caller with a question."
"Hi caller. What's you name?" Carson said.
"Hi my name is Shantel and well I'm a big fan Carson and I wanna know are you and Mandie dating?"
"No," Mandie said seriously then smiled "Carson and I just officially met today."
"Ok thank you Mandie."
"No problem hun."
"Well, onto the next video, here's Blink 182 with "Stay Together For The Kids" at number 9 here on TRL!" Mandie said enthusiastically into the camera and when it cut off again, "I'm done."
"Why? I need you on for the rest of the show," he whined as she started to walk off stage.
"Come on Carson, I'm going out with Lance tonight, I don't need rumors flying around that we are dating, okay?" Mandie spat out and headed back to the green room to see what was going on between Justin, Lance, and Cass.
As she was walking into the green room she heard laughter and it was coming from Cass and Justin, "Wow it seems like some people are actually getting along... I'm surprised."
"Yah it looked like one Carson and one Mandie were pretty friendly too," Cass laughed.
"Fuck you," Mandie walked out of the room and to the dressing room.
She practically yanked her hair out of the ponytail it was in and looked at her reflection in the mirror. She felt so confused. She didn't want Carson hitting on her. That's why Justin said that she'd be Lance's girl she inferred. She finally walked back into the greenroom, smoothing out her hair and sat down between Justin and Lance.
"Hey, it's my boys," she wrapped her arms around both their shoulders. Lance just sighed underneath her and Justin felt uneasy. He didn't know what to feel exactly since he'd broken up with Britney.
"Why so glum Lance?" Mandie said turning towards him.
"I'm not I'm fine."
"Ok," Mandie turned to Justin "Why so glum Blondie?"
"Britney's getting the best of me again," Justin sighed, feeling himself sink into the couch, "I don't know what to do."
"Well, kiss Cass," Mandie let her thought slip out.
Justin sat up, in shock, "What the fuck did you just say?" him and Cass both said at the same time.
"Whoops, did I say that out loud? Sorry!" Mandie covered her mouth and leaned on Lance's shoulder lightly, "Um, well, you guys have got to find someway to get along. Kiss or no kiss, you have to not fight with each other."
"Ok Mandie," Carson came in again and saw Mandie's head rested on Lance's shoulder and once again gave Lance that death look, "Cass you're up," He said as if he wasn't enthused.
"Okay, see you Mandie," Cass got up from the couch, Justin's eyes secretly following her. He didn't know why, but he had this weird connection with Cass. Cass hadn't hit total insane fame yet, but Justin felt like she knew what he went through to some aspect. He hoped he weren't a jerk for 5 minutes and maybe they would become friends.
"Man, what happened to your hand, Cass?" Carson asked, looking down at her hand and suddenly becoming a little sexually attracted to her.
"Punched a hole in the wall," Cass bluntly replied, rubbing her arm, feeling strange under Carson's stare.
"Oh," He took her into the studio.
"Hey Mandie, you wanna hit the road?" Lance asked.
"Um sure. Do you need me to drop you off and you can come pick me up?"
"Yah."
"Wait! Shoot! I can't leave yet!" Mandie exclaimed, hitting her palm against her forehead.
"Why not?"
"I got to drive Cass home, damnit!" Mandie exclaimed again.
"Hey, I'll drive her home," Justin offered quietly.
"Wow, Justin, you actually can stand being in a small confined space with Cass Blake? What a change of heart!" Lance started to laugh.
"Shut up," Justin defended himself, but his thoughts were a little different. He didn't exactly like Cass, but he never knew when that might change.
"Ok, tell Cass girl I will see her later ok?"
"Alrightc ya Mandie," Justin got up and gave Mandie a hug.
"Bye hun," Mandie walked out of his embrace, "Red Eye?"
"Yup."
"K. Let me grab my Smokey, k?"
Justin just sat on the couch alone, thinking to himself. He could hear the many screams from the crowd in the other room and he wondered what it would be like if he never joined *NSYNC. His whole life would be different, he would have changed his fate. But never mind that, he thought. He got up from the couch and started to watch Carson and Cass talking. He suddenly had these strange feelings about Cass that he hadn't before. She was something unique.
Meanwhile
"Wow this is your car?"
"Uh yah," Mandie got in the drivers seat, "Smokester, in the back," Mandie yelled in a humorous way. Soon they were on their way.
Back to Justin
Why was he feeling this way? He knew he shouldn't. Cass was way to young for him. He shouldn't feel that way. He couldn't feel like he had any sort of feelings for Cass. She was a bitch, he didn't feel it was right. And he was still in love with Britney as well. But he just couldn't stop himself. He was starting to like her. He just looked at her with a look of pity in his eyes for being so mean to her and listened to her and Carson's conversation.
"So exactly how were you discovered Miss Cass?" Carson said still staring at her.
Cass felt his eyes on her and started get a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach... she waited there and Carson asked again and quickly followed.
"Are you ok Cass?" He asked a little concerned.
"I feel a little, uh, oh god," she muttered out before she passed out on stage. Carson was in shock as her sprawled out figure just laid there on his feet, "O-okay let's go take a break and we'll try to get Cass back up."
The crowd was in a shock as well as Justin ran out on the stage, trying to wake Cass up and yelled at Carson, "What the fuck'd you do to her?"
"What do you mean what did I do to her?" Carson looked at who he was talking to, "You're not supposed to be here yet!"
"Yah well Cass's my friend and when something happens I react," Justin knelt down and swept Cass into his arms.
"Hey, what about the premiere?" Carson yelled at Justin as he carried Cass off set.
"Tell Sir Elton I'll make it up to them, and the fans as well," Justin yelled back as he finally made his way out of the door.
Big mistake. The fanatic crowd could clearly see the two and he was being mobbed. With an unconscious singer in his arms.
What should he do?
