Chapter 1

"Mandie, what should I wear, pink or blue today?" Cass walked up to her, holding up 2 mini-dresses in front of Mandie.

"Well, I'd go with pink," Mandie replied, taking the pink dress from Cass and holding it up to her.

"Man, why are you so much better at picking clothes out than me?" Cass whined, throwing the blue dress on the floor, stepping over it to sit on the beanbag chair on the other side of the room.

"Cass, I'm an expert, don't question an expert," Mandie gave her a sly smile.

"Oh yeah you're a model... I seem to of forgotten," Cass replied with a sarcastic tone.

"Duh," Mandie pulled her auburn hair out of a clip, "So what are we going to do today? I have today off."

"Man, I don't know. What are you up for?" Cass asked, settling herself into the beanbag chair and grabbing a magazine next to her.

"I don't know, what about you?"

"Don't even start that back and forth shit, Mandie," Cass started laughing, "I've got work to do, I've got TRL today. Are you sure I should wear a dress?"

"Well, Cass, I don't tell you what to wear, I just help," she stated, starting to walk over to the mirror and fix her hair slightly.

"Why don't you come with me?" Cass asked, running a couple fingers through her hair and getting up from the beanbag chair.

"Well for one thing... I will feel like I am crowding your stardom...for another thing I don't think I could control myself around Carson... he is too damn hot." Mandie put on her powder and quickly dusted it off, "Besides, why would they want a model that's not very known?"

"Well, I'm not very known either, so it should be fair to both of us, shouldn't it?" Cass replied, crossing her legs together and flipped a couple pages in the magazine.

"I don't know, it wouldn't be fair to you," Mandie still objected.

"And by the way, I have no stardom! Yet," she giggled at the end.

"Well, let me think about it..."

"Okaybut I really want you to go so think hard ok."

"Alright... I will go..." Mandie let out some air and put on the finishing touches of her makeup, "You know, maybe I shouldn't go... I'm too tall."

"Oh no you're not! You're supposed to be tall," Cass got up and compared her height to Mandie's, "Look at me!"

"At least you're taller than Britney, shortie," she stuck her elbow on her head and started to lean on it.

"Oh no! I am no one's head rest, not even Justin Timberlake's," she ducked out from underneath Mandie's arm, "And at least you're taller than Chris."

"Weirdo everyone is taller then him," Mandie went to her closet and bit her bottom lip, "What should I wear? I have too many clothes it is not fair."

"Yah but they are all designers," Cass flipped the next page of her magazine, "Hey look it's you... ahhh! There is two of you, that's not fair!"

"Yeah look, it's twins of me, I wish my twin would take over my job sometimes, it would give me a well-deserved break," she was still searching through her closet for something to wear.

"And I am not taller than Chris! Almost, but not," Cass replied, "I don't need a twin, I want all the glory."

"Glory hog," Mandie replied as she finally stuck her head out of the closet and got out her outfit.

Cass just laughed, "Ha, ha right next to you is a Britney picture looking sluttier then ever."

"Well at least I have clothes on... how does this look?" Mandie had on a short blue mini skirt and a yellow halter with blue trim.

"Nice, better than I ever could," Cass replied, looking over her outfit, then looking back down at the magazine, "Better than Slutney."

Mandie looked down at Britney's picture and simply commented, "At least when I wear a shirt like that, my breasts look real."

"Like you wear shirts like that, you're modest," Cass replied.

"But the shirt is cute, I might steal it off her when I get the chance, remind me in a week when it gets bad publicity," Mandie replied, giving Cass a devilish smile.

"Ha, ha, ha" Cass said sarcastically.

"So what time do you need to be there hun?"

"Um, 2:00."

"Ok, so you wanna get lunch?" Mandie put on some blue and yellow skater shoes.

"Man, can we like, get a burger or something? I've been dying for some grease!" Cass started to laugh again.

"Salad for me," Mandie replied, "I need anything but grease or chocolate."

"Yeah yeah yeah, I need it!" Cass started to look through Mandie's closet, "Hey, can I steal one of your fashions for today?"

"Yeah, as long as I haven't worn it," Mandie replied, starting to touch up her hair again.

"That'd be anything that isn't a skirt, that narrows it down a lot," Cass started to root through the closet.

"Ohh there are a really cute pair of floods in there you can where it with a tank and flip flops," Mandie pulled on her high school jacket and got on her cell phone "If we are going any where I need my bodyguard."

"I ain't special, I gots no bodyguard," Cass kept rooting through Mandie's closet, "And I ain't seein' no floods!"

"They're right here, spaz," Mandie dug them right out for her. They were a cute pair of blue jean floods with a diamond buckle and sparkles everywhere.

"Glitter, okay, it's okay," Cass put on the floods and found a tank top that said "My boyfriend kisses better than yours" in what looked like rubies. She quickly slipped on a pair of platform sandals and waited for Mandie to finish talking.
