"Baby?"
I felt the arms of Lance encircle my naked waist once again and his kisses were laid on my collarbone. I turned around to face him, the mixing of the black and white skin underneath the covers again and ask, "Yes, boo?"
"Do you love me, too?"
I felt bad for treating him so horribly over all those years past. He had told me he had treated me horrible this whole time to try to deny it to himself that he was in love with me. And now he was being completely sincere with his feelings. I didn't want to lie and allbut I wasn't clearly sure myself.
I felt my heart pounding within my chest and I replied softly out of my pink lips, "Yes."
"That's not sincere," I wondered how he could tell I was lying just by lying here next to me, "I know you can't tell me immediately, but when you doI'll know. I'll know when you mean it."
I sighed and laid my head on his shoulder, breathing in the scent of his body as I laid there in bliss. There was only one thing holding me back from loving him
Then I heard my cell phone ring from beside the bed. Lance had a puzzled expression on his face, assuming I had turned it off and I picked it up hesitantly and said, "Hello?"
"Hey baby, how's my Nikki?"
Remember I said there was something holding me back? Wellthat's my boyfriend, Sean.
