Brian Firkal died while trying to save 3
swimmers. There are no words that can describe the extreme sorrow felt
by everyone in our fire company. Our tears could put out the largest
fire we ever fought. Brian was a great guy. Our sincere sympathy goes
out to his wife, Jane, and the family. This is such a sad day for
everyone who knew Brian. |

What
a shock it was to hear of the untimely death of our very good friend DJ
Mr. Mike (Mike Balogach). There are no words that can describe the
extreme sorrow felt by everyone in our fire company. It brings tears to
your eyes when you think of the heartbreaking news of his passing, but
this is only temporary, as you find comfort in all the happy memories of
him and it brings you to a chuckle. Mike helped us usher in many New
Years and entertained us on numerous occasions. Our sincere sympathy
goes out to his wife, and the family. This is such a sad day for us at
the fire company and everyone who knew him. |
