| In 1964 it moved to a 50
minute begining at 6.05pm.
The studio disco set allowed the audience onto the studio floor for
dancing and mingling with the appearing stars.
The show featured both new
releases, exsisting hits and off the cuff interviews with the artists .
The venue Wembley studio (now
Fountain) was not always available every Friday so the show was
pre-recorded on a Tuesday.
Resident dancers were Theresa
Confrey and Patrick Kerr who demonstrated new dances alongside
"members of the public" who were chosen specialy from the
Sabre Club. |
