Just when you thought it was safe to sleep at night, Drac is Back!!! The hard-working team at Konami is releasing a sequel to the popular, gothic-thriller, Castlevania. Prepare for some whip-snapping action all you devoted gamers, cause this platform is a few castle steps above its predecessor!!!
You play Simon Belmont, vampire-hunter extraordinaire. Your quest leads you through horrific forests, scary swamps, and enough castles to strain the thumbs on any power player!!!! Beware of night-stalking demons, creeping skeletons, lake monsters, and the big man himself, Dracula!!!! The gameplay is incredible. It's sort of a cross between an RPG and an action game, allowing your character to find clues while fighting off evil. The best thing about this game is how there are no actual levels, so you are free to go wherever you want, whenever you want, as long as you have what it takes! The music score, like all Konami games (Contra, for one!!), is incredible!!! The biting melodies complement the style of the game perfectly. The game is tough everybody, so you better get someone to tape Family Matters for you if you want to have a friday night gaming party!!! It took me three weeks to conquer this epic, but it was well worth it. It's so much challenging and fun at the same time. I suggest purchasing this game. Game on!! |
