THE RULES!

Distribution:

• To understand fansubs better, read this Fansub FAQ.
• E-mail me for requests or trades.
• Turnaround time: 1 week or less. Add 2 to 3 days if backlogged.
• Do not e-mail me about your tape status until at least 3 weeks after the date your funds or your tapes were sent. They will be ignored. Told ya in advance.
• I can only do Hi-Fi VHS recordings--No SVHS.
• All tapes will be recorded in SP mode. Ep requests will be transferred to my assistant from human resources (The garbage can).
• I can not do labels. The closest thing that I do to it are Post-it notes.
• If a tape is messed up (hey, stuff happens), I'll redo the tape for you provided that you send it back. Sorry, but I can not reinburse you for the postage.
• If a tape is damaged in transit, you'll have to take it up with the post office. I try to package the tapes well enough so that it would not happen.

Trading Rules: U.S./Canada

1. NO LIMITS ON TRADING.
2. Trading has priority over requests.
3. Hi-Fi VHS recordings please. No MONO tapes. Mono trading tends to ruin a good trade between people.
4. You MUST e-mail me to do a trade with me.
5. When trading, provide the following information:
   • Name:
   • Address:
   • City, State, Zip:
   • Titles requested:
   • Alternative Title(s):
   • Brand of Tape to be used:
   • Web page or a non-file list of your tapes:
6. I will accept these or similar types of tapes: Maxell Gold/Hi-Fi, TDK E-HG/Hi-Fi, Fuji Pro (No Polaroids, Sony V's, Maxell Silvers, TDK T-120/AQ, or any of those no-brand name tapes) Use only freshly bought and unopened tapes. If unsure if the type of tape that you're using is okay, just ask. If not, I have a very nice batch of used generic tapes here that is just aching to find a new owner. (WHAHAHAHAHA!)
7. If accepted, send your tapes to me. When I receive your tapes, I'll then ship yours. I don't like getting ripped off as much as the next person. I have been ripped before and it's not pretty.

Request Rules: SASE--U.S./Canada

1. SASE means "Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope"--meaning that you pay the postage for the mailing of your package both ways--to me to record the tapes for you and to you so that I can send them back to you.
2. Maximum number per request: 3 tapes. No more.
3. You MUST e-mail me first and get my permission before you can send off your tapes.
4. Include the following information in your e-mail:
   • Name:
   • Address:
   • City, State, Zip:
   • Titles requested:
   • Format: Hi-Fi VHS (gomen)
   • Alternative Title(s):
   • Tape Brand Using:
5. I will accept these or similar types of tapes: Maxell Gold/Hi-Fi, TDK EHG/Hi-Fi, Fuji Pro (No Polaroids, Sony V's, Maxell Silvers, TDK T-120/AQ, or any of those no-brand name tapes) Use only freshly bought and unopened tapes. If not, well, you know.
6. Mixing and Matching is acceptable for 1 tape only.
7. As soon as you're approved, send the tapes to me ASAP. (2 weeks tops) Otherwise, I will not accept it and it will be mailed back to you.
8. Also, along with the tapes, include on a sheet of paper a list of the tapes that you wished for. I don't like index cards. They tend to get lost easily. I do not want to guess what tapes you chose.
9. Use a bubble mailer when mailing off your tapes.
   • Used bubble mailers are fine, provided that you remove all of the sticky stuff from it first.
   • Bubble mailers sizes 8 1/2" X 11" is the best size for sending 3 tapes. Sizes 9 1/2" X 13" are just as good if you can not find them.
10. Do not forget about that return envelope and postage for the tapes to be returned. He who stiffs me will get stiffed in return.
