Unearthed Destiny
The wind it blew the light away,
And the fire it caught the wind.
But the girl was standing, in the rain,
With the shore so littered with tears.
The girl she turned, in her wind-swept dress,
And her tears they turned to rain.
As she walked the steps up the temple of rain,
She knew she would never be complete.
The black it shone with the red in place,
On her dress so full of rifts.
In sadness her arms did cross,
Though nothing so sweetly belonged.
Her life had gone with the peace she so feared,
She had no one to see when it appeared.
But her voice did lift up in the air,
Her thoughts they fell heavenly.
Something remained in her mind,
Nothing would give up time.
Her love her life had gone away,
And she knew he would not come again.
But off in the distance of her own past,
She knew he was never so near.
And his return would come,
When she felt his tear.
And they embraced in the trees,
And held each other close,
And vowed they would never leave,
Each others lives eternally.
They walked down the path of life,
And lived the life they dreamed.
Never had they felt so close,
And believed they were so near.
Always remember this saying,
When thinking back to your past.
A dream is only a journey away,
Your tears they do always shine.
