Tides Temple

Hiding you fear the silence,

Solitary sentinels guard you from reality.

Pillars of autumn mark the corridor to you heart.

Burnt ivy wrapped around stone rising above.

Encased in marble the faces of past lovers,

Crumbled perfection raises above all others.

Stepping over crumbs of grief,

Let your body fall into the fire.

To be returned to ashes breathes new life,

To end the suffering stops all desire.

Shallow tides wash your body ashore,

The coastline of passion,

Lighthouse lost.

Flooded temple of crumbled past,

You wash away with all things forgotten.

Embattled roses thrust at your heart,

Shot at you from transformed chivalric cause.

Victim of chronological shadows,

Reality chimes your journeys gains.

Following the marble, ivy covered,

Only to let the tide reach out a hand,

Control you again.
