Cold Night



A dark leaf falls,

Spins as destiny nears,

Shakes as rain doth pull near.



Under sky’s of serpentine solitude,

I cast away the Naples,

Of mine own hate and sorrow.



Watching over fallen trees,

I kiss a light in night away,

Falling under my face so sorrow,

Never saw the lightening strike.



I look up to the sky so red,

And see the falling angel.

Wishing for a night of furrow,

I hide under tears of black.



I stand up falling through the darkness,

The girl she stands with tears of rain.

Under the watching glance of gods,

She turns and dives into nights of cold dread.



Her dress fluttering veins cross-turned under fire,

Her arms turned to her face,

She stands and falls and fears no sorrow,

I kiss my hand,

And weep...
