My River/Summer GlauWallpapers

New River wallpaper, I do think my Muse is heading for some more Torrents action, she seems to be in a dark place. This is tortured River, images all from the Train Job. Also uses a background/texture I made myself with heavy usage of brushes from 1greeneye.
For my first playing around with PSP8 I decided to make another River one, as she always turns out lovely for me. Also played with a slightly differant style this time. I rather like how this one turned out for just mucking about to see what the new program can do.

A new River piece, very pleased how this one turned out overall. Even though I did mess up two of the images, it was meant to go in the order of the scenes in Serenity. This is actually, layout wise, closer to how I wanted the Faces Of River piece to look, but this time I limited myself to using only images from Serenity. Figured I already had an overall series study so this time I went more for River as we first see her, with the middle image the only hint of the River to be. Ended up being almost religious in tone, with River seeming very Angelic in the middle image. Saint River...LOL

This one is from the season 3 episode of Angel, Waiting In The Wings. It is Summer Glau's acting debut and the job that won her the role of River in Firefly. I was surfing the web and came across some great screencaps of this ep at Daydreaming so I just had to play with them. Plus, I'd just read some PSP tut's and was trying out some new things. I think it turned out rather well.
The Faces Of River, just a study of some of my favorite River moments. A chance to play a bit, not entirely happy with it Another re-done image, twice. And now I can't decide which I like better. Again. LOL
But I do like it better now.

Most of my brushes I got from Morbid Romantic which is part of the Baptism Of Blood site. Go there, she has the most awesome stuff, I also use some of her backgrounds. And some great HTML Tut's that I plan to go through here some day...LOL
Also use a lot of brushes and backgrounds/textures from 1greeneye. Most of the backgrounds/textures on the older images are from Daydreaming, along with a few of the screen caps.I now also have some backgrounds/textures from Divine Intervention.
The images I use are almost exclusively from Can't Take The Sky. The screencaps were made by EB at HeroineChic. Most Angel related screen caps are from the Freeze Frame Network. If I use a screen cap from another source I''ll mention it in the piece description.
