I didn't really know much about Switzerland before this visit. I knew that they speak four languages there, and that Geneva is the capital of the French speaking part of the country. I also did know that Geneva Switzerland is the home of the humanitarian projects of the United Nations. I wanted to see that. |

This is the International Museum of the Red Cross / Red Crescent to the left. To the right is me in front of the Geneva UN Headquarters, but unfortunately it was Christmas time (this in fact was Christmas Day!) and the offices, tours, everything was understandably closed for the holidays. |

I never got to find out what this beautiful building to the left is. But even on a rainy day it sure does look nice.
Across from that building is this secured building for the "Mission permanente de la f�d�ration de Russie.". |
