This page is dedicated my Summer of 1999 with the Upward Bound students, faculty, and staff at Mills College. I got to teach French this passed Summer for the Upward Bound program at Oakland, California's extremely beautiful Mills College. I had eight great students in my French class, as well as the many students for whom I subbed for three days in the 10th grade English Shakespeare class. I had a wonderful time. This is my friend Leah Casey. She's a law student at the University of California at Berkeley. She was an assistant to Mr. Shultz for the Summer. Here we are on our way to see a production of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet in Santa Cruz.
