Basic Tips:

1- Always wear dark colours. Even during the day darker colours don't attract as much attention. I mean, its pretty hard to miss a bright orange body running in circles.

2- Try to get to a high area. Even if its just ontop of a hill, remember nerf guns are only air powered so they don't go that far, especially against gravity. A tree or on a roof are usually the best as often the person won't see you until they're already dead.

3- When in a battle be sure to keep track of where your darts land. You never know when you might run out so always be ready to rush back and pick them up. Better yet, pick them up after you neutralized the opponent you were shooting at, that way you never have to worry about this.

4- Try to bring appropiate guns. A rapid fire gun is always good for a close-range, suicide type attack but in forests and large areas most slower-firing weapons have the accuracy and the range to win.

5- Make sure to have a backup. My personal favourite is the Lock n' Load, its small, comfortable, and carries 3 darts, which is better than many sidearms. Any small gun will do but bringing might just save your life...

Simple Stratagies:

1- When your moving in to attack the enemy base, bring along the most rapid fire weapons you have, along with whatever shielding you've allowed for the game. If you rain enough darts in there, no one will be left to oppose you.

2- Try to find the person with the most patience on the team and give then the most accurate weapon, they can be your sniper. You can leave them in the base or even better, put them in a high spot nearby, hopefully they'll be able to disable the enemy players while there concentrating on getting into your base.

3- Having the biggest guns isn't always the way to win, or even the fastest guns. Winning a game is in the hands of the general, and his stratagies. Before trying any large scale attacks on another team, sit down and make a quick plan, where everyone comese in from, timing, who takes out what enemy (so that four of you don't all shoot at Bob and then Joe kills three of you because no one took him out).

4- A good general plan for wining a nerf war is too stay in small groups of two or three. This way you won't all be slaughtered at once and if one guy dies the other is there to avenge him. These small groups should be used for hit-and-run attacks but never head on assults.

5- Finally, the most important thing to remember is that even though nerf is only a game, you mood can affect your abilities and your chances to win. Never think of the enemy as friends, even if they are, they are your OPPONENTS and must be treated at that, no mercy, no warning, no losing.
