We've started getting some good feedback in the comments section for nerf wars. Add your idea if you want it displayed here. These are some different ways we have nerf battles, each is cool and alot of fun most of the time it just depends on how much time you have. Try them out, maybe you'll find one you really like.

Quick War
If you just have a few minutes and you want to have a quick Nerf War just have no teams and when you are shot your eliminated form the War. The last person "alive" wins. Pretty basic eh?

Life War
When you have a little more time on you hands you can have a Life War. In this Nerf War you are split into two or more teams depending on how many people you have (3-5 people are a good team size). Each team has a part of the area as there "Home", mind you this is not a base! This is just the starting area for a team, no walls or baricading allowed! After a set time the teams move out. Each person should have three slips of paper or something else to work as "lives". When you are "killed" you give one life to your "killer". When someones last life is taken they have to lie still on the ground until one of their teammates comes along and willingly gives them one of their lives. If they only have one life left the are not aloud to give it to a "Dead" person. At the end of a set time (30 minutes usually works well but i find 1 hour to 2 hours better) the teams meet and "lives" are counted, the team with the most lives wins.

"Limbs" War
This is also a slightly longer war, you can have it every man for himself or teams, whatever you want. As the name suggests you "Lose" limbs when they are shot. For example if your hand it shot you no longer have use of it until the game is restarted. If your chest, torso or head are shot you are gone from the game and must walk with your gun above your head to a preset "Dead" area. Any part on the leg counts and a lose of that leg. Toes, Heel or foot and your hopping. Fingers, wrist, or hand and loading becomes a difficulty. Any part of the arms and loading becomes near impossible. Have fun with this war but be honest or it sucks.

Gladiator War
This war is one on one. Two people square off in an area whose boundaries you set. A long thin streach of hilly area is best or a smaller section of a forest. Basically both people start about equal lengths from the middle and then go! They just run dodge and shoot until the other is killed. In this a kill shot is one that hits you (doesn't matter where) before it hits something else, like a tree or the ground.

Dark War
This war is the best if you make you bullets glow in the dark (go to mods section) or you equipe your gun with a flash light (again go to mods section). A house is needed here. You choose an area for each team to start. All the lights are off (and its night time). Basically all the rules in a Long War apply. This war can be really cool and exciting, its the time for snippers here.

Doctor War
As I hope you can guess from the title, a doctor war has a few doctors. The best way is to use teams. Once split up into teams a doctor is chosen (1 for the first 6, 2 for 7-12, and 3 for any more, per team that is). The doctor is not invunerable to bullets but has 5 lives, each she/he has to give to the person who shot him/her. This life token can not be used to for anything other than a war trophy. Once a doctor losses all their lives they have to leave the game area. A doctor can revive dead players on there own team by touch. A shot that hits someone, no matter where, unless it was a ricoshee "kills" them. This game is fast paced and exciting, only for the best. Oh yeah, doctors can only carry pistol, a limit of one per doctor.

Flag War
Teams must be chosen, equal teams and hopefully equal strength. Each team choses something to be their flag. Then the teams back off to opposite sides and hide the flag. The flag must be visible from at least 180* and has to be within reach of the shortest player on the opposing team. Teams also chose a base, bases and flag loctaions can be the same or far apart, your choice. The idea of the game is to grab the enemies flag and take in into your base area, as long as you still have posetion of your own flag you win. If you get hit you have to walk back to your base with your gun on your head before you can enter the war again. Have fun with this one, it takes stratagy.

Points War
In this war you can have teams or not, your choice, basically you score points for kills. A kill counts for 1 point and you get 1 extra point for every 2 kills the other person had made since the last time the died. (no half points, round down)! Someone killed has to wait 30 full seconds before "coming to life" again. If your killed you retain all you points and at the end of the game the person, or team with the most points wins. This all out kamakazie war is fun and cool, try it.

Basic Teams War
Like the title suggests, this War is basic and involves teams. All you have to do is split into teams. Then follow the exact rules of the Quick war only use the teams instead. Fun, quick, and it gets the blood flowing. Have fun and win!!!

Every Man(or Woman) for Himself(or Herself) War
This war is just crazy. Arm yourself and run for cover. If your shot either obey the rules of the amputee war, or for more fun assign one or two doctors to "treat" everyone. The doctors cannot show favorism, the just treat the person closest to them, but if you shoot a doctor, they can decide not to treat you next time. A doctor can be rivived by and non-doctor player touching them. This is the Revenge, someone pissed you off, now you can get them back!!!

Fan Submitted Wars

Here we've got those wars we've mentioned that were given to use by fans of the site.

Wounds War
This war was submitted by Riley. We've decided to call it the War of Wounds. The basic idea is that you can be hit three times before you're dead. It can be played with teams or indivually, whatever you want. The first time you're shot you have to keep one hand over the "wounded area", the second time your shot you have to keep you gun hand over the new "wounded area". The only time you can remove your hands is to load and pump your nerf gun, even shooting must be done with hands on wounds. It makes for an interesting twist, and it give peeps who haven't been hit at all an advantage. Try it out yourself

If you have your own type of war you want to add to our site or you have a question about one of the wars we have up just add it to the comments (which is easier than) e-mailing us at [email protected]
