N.E.R.D. RULES

0.5) (Added 8/19/02)- ALL RACES ARE SUBJECT TO APPROVAL! I light of recent events, I have added this rule to determine if races are too restricted in order to allow. If there is a race in question, a committee of 5 people will be formed to determine if the race is too restrictive. Majority rules in this case. I, and only I, can decide if a race should go to the committee stage. I cannot reject any races without the committee's approval. This is our system of checks and balances.

1.  Stables must only be members of the N.E.R.D.  Duel residency will not be allowed.  If I find a stable is  also a member at another site  an e-mail will be sent to discuss the problem.  GSR members are the exception!

2. Trainers must compete at 1 of the 6 designated tracks in order to earn points toward the Trainers Contest. The 6 tracks are: Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Upper New York.

3. Points will be scored as follows, at one of the 6 tracks previously listed. Also, the trainers contest will begin 1 week after the residency fills (It will probably begin in either Week 1502 or Week 1509).

1st Place: 5 Points

2nd Place: 4 Points

3rd Place: 3 Points

4th Place: 2 Points

5th Place: 1 Point

4. The one contest that will run concurrent with the Trainers Contest is the 12W4 contest. Click here for the rules for this contest.

5. Donating credits is a good thing :). By donating credits, we can have prizes, such as a homebred horse. We can also buy races. I do not have a holding stable currently set up, but once I get one, I will inform all the residents and we can talk about maybe getting something.

6. I am limiting the initial amount of residents to 20 stables, just to make sure I can handle it. I will cap it at this number for now, but if I can handle it, I will likely enlarge this number.

7. Most important rule. Have fun. I want this to be a close group, and I am open to suggestions for contests to run. I have probably left off some rules, but I think most people know them. I will try to help out some newbies, if they want to join, and help out.

8. Silks are not mandatory, but they are suggested so I can put them on the stable page.
