| Appearance: |
Tirin is tall, with a medium build (5'9, 130). She is rather gangly, with long legs, arms and torso. Her hair is a light brown, cropped in short ringlets that frizz in the Nerat heat and humidity. She has a long face with high cheekbones. Her eyes are green with short lashes and bushy eyebrows. Her nose turns up at the end, something she's always hated. Her mouth is wide with thick lips. She has a naturally tan complexion. Tirin isn't as curvy as she would like to be, so she wears outfits to accentuate what she does have: legs. Her legs are long and muscular and she wears tight pants and high slit skirts.

Tirin bases much of her opinions on people by her first impression of them. She is very serious about her craft, and has lectured more than a few riders and weyrlings on duty to their dragons. She runs the infirmary with an iron hand, expecting excellence from everyone, especially herself. Outside of the infirmary, Tirin is a vivacious woman. She likes to have fun, and makes friends easily.

Tirin was born the third child of healer Journeyman and his wife. She was born in Igen Hold and lived there with her family for ten Turns. Her father was re-assigned to Nerat Weir, where Tirin�s ability to speak to dragons was noticed. She stood for her first clutch at age 12 and after failing to Impress twice, she decided to apprentice herself to the Dragonhealers.
After walking the tables to become a Journeyman, Tirin transferred to Ista Weyr to study under a Master there. After several Turns, Tirin felt it was time to �come home� and requested a transfer to Nerat Weyr.

Tirin can speak to and hear all dragons, something that comes in handy with her craft. She specialized in repairing wing sails and healing Thread burns.
