Erryn is not beautiful, in fact she is rather plain and unremarkable as women go. Her body is thin, bony and skinny looking. Stringy, pale blond hair falls down her back to her elbows and her skin is pale and an unattractive amount of veins show though. Her eyes are a pale shade of blue-gray, like ice with an gray cast to it. She is 5'11 and 155lbs, her breasts are small and her hips curve only slightly. Some speculate that she will never be able to have children safely, but the arrival of baby Corryn has changed their minds.She has a few thin scars around her wrists and arms; random and simple injuries from childhood play.
Clothing is simple for Erryn, for she gives little thought to her appearance. Heather gray is a common color for her, as well as blue. She wears little jewelry, the sole exception being a string of blue dyed wooden beads around her neck.

Erryn is a fairly laid back and easy going person. She isnt caught up in new hairstyles or fancy dresses, prefering the compan of men to women as far as buddies go. She prefers the company of many to few and likes to talk and joke around. For the most part she is a friendly individual who would rather share a few cups of wine than punches. She's a fair bit of a lover, with one child to her name. Her tastes run toward men and women, with a strong preferance for women over men. Not that she wont take a man if he is exceptional.

Erryn is a young women who was born of two riders at Ista Weyr. E'ran was the rider of the brown Mortoth and her mother, Rynna, the rider of the junior queen Cordanth. Erryn was fostered at an early age and never spent much time with her birth mother. She knew that she was a goldrider's daughter, but that did not effect her life for better or worse. She spent the majority of her time with the male weyrbrats, doing boy things and playing rough with her age mates.
At the age of sixteen Erryn met a young man named Corthan. The two were lovers briefly and when Erryn found out she was with child, Corthan proposed they marry. Erryn wasnt ready for such a commitment and shot him down. Corthan was five turns older than Erryn and left Ista Weyr, moving to Ista Hold were he married another women in less than month.
Erryn gave birth to a son, a boy she called Corryn. He was fostered at a young age, same as she and Erryn went back to being the cook's assistant and working as she always had. It was at the age of 20 that she was Searched by a rider of Ista to stand for the new clutch. She stood, but did not Impress. Instead, she moved from Ista Weyr to Nerat Weyr in hopes that she would Impress there. She took her four turn old son with her.
