Celandia's looks are enough to strike a cord in any onlooker. Straight, black hair falls down her back to her elbows and her eyes are like brittle glass. Pale green in color, they look like they are carved from frost coated jade. She stands' 5'9 and weights 195lbs. Her hips are perfect for child bearing and her breasts are large and inviting. Her stomach is relatively flat and she takes care to watch what she eats. Her skin is fair without a scar. Calistia had taught her daughter many tricks to keep her skin perfect and beautiful, so she has no ache either.
Celandia has never worn pants in her life, her mother only let her wear dresses and skirts. She has two good dresses, one purple and the other crimson. Her everyday dresses are gray, brown, green and cream.

Celandia is aloof, remote and cold. Her chin is consistantly tilted up so that she can look down on people. She believes herself to be more mature, more adult like than the other teenagers around her. She scoffs at pranks and jokes, never playing any of Adara's games if she can help it. She acts like an adult and tends to talk to her own agemates like they were weyrbrats.
She likes her cousin Adara well enough, but treats the girl like she is five turns instead of seventeen. She doesnt know what to make of this weyrlife business but hopes that she can return to Fort Hold without any trouble. Celandia lives to please her mother and few things upset her as much as Calistia being angry with her.

Celandia was the only child of Calistia,former lady of the minor hold of Hortan. When blighted crops and famine threated Hortan, it was abandoned and Calistia came to live at Fort Hold. She wanted nothing more for her only daughter to marry into the Lord Hold of Fort's family. She fancied the second son and quickly planned for her daughter to one day marry him. It was to her great upset when Adonis, his brother and Holder of Nutal Cothold, sent his only daughter Adara into her care. Adonis wanted his daughter to marry well and have a good life at Fort Hold. Calistia was less concerned with Adara's match than that of her Celandia's.
However, the marriage wasnt to be. Celandia was Searched along side Adara to stand for a clutch at Nerath Weyr. Calistia urged her daughter to go to save face in public, but inside she was furious. Celandia went, thinking this her mother's wish, and is now a candidate for Nerat Weyr.
