Ryan was born on the south side of Chicago in the housing projects. He has a younger brother and sister. His dad left when he was two his mom died when he was thriteen form there he bounced around from family members at 17 he spent to years in jail for a Breaking and Entering and assault with a deadly weapon. At 19 when he got out he went to Minnesota after seeing an ad for a training center and since then has wrestled in small feds in the United States and Europe. He was trained by Ken Patera
