Ruler of an empire.  Represents a man who achieves supreme power.  It represents patriarchy, fatherhood, authority, power, great teacher, politician, strategist, shrewd manipulator, opportunist, general, or ruler.  He desires to increase his dominance in every direction.  Napoleon, Julius Caesar, Bill Gates, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and JFK are some examples.  There is an absence of emotion with this card.  When it is reversed, it can mean chaos, strife, disorder, arguments, and war. It can also mean a despot, intolerance, tyranny, and the abuse of power. Mafia bosses and crime lords.
