After the regular season is finished, the playoffs start. The teams vie for the
Magnolia Trophy. The first and second place teams in each conference get a bye
to the second round. The third place team plays the fourth place team; the
fifth place team plays the sixth place team (quarter finals). The first place team
will play either the third or fourth place team. Second will play either the
fifth or sixth place team (semi-finals). (See below.)
Then, which ever team has won, (1st, 3rd or 4th) plays the other team that won
(2nd, 5th or 6th.) It is called the Conference Final. Lastly, the top team from
the east and west square off in the Magnolia Trophy Game, the most watched sporting event in Magnolia.
