Name origin: Popular myth has it that the land was once rich in Doves (there aren't as many now, though the whole country is richly populated with them), and was called "duver" (Duh-ver). The myth goes on to state that the name evolved into "Dover" over many years. This is, however, a ledgend/myth, and is disputable.

Geography

Dover is bordered on the west by Concordia, on the north by Arcanda, on the east by Cerillia and on the south by Lithia.

Dover is one of the smallest Provinces. It's main features are the vallies and small lakes caused by all of the mountians the make up the topography of the province.

On the mountains of the province are many coniferous forrests, which are home to a variety of wildlife and many varieties of birds.

Miscellaneous

There is a long stretch of open meadow near a small lake, which is near the city of Warren. In this meadow grows Ocean Mist, the provincial flower. This plant, fortuneatly, is not endangered, and grows plentifully. The flower is protected in Ocean National Park.

This site was declared a "world herritage site" by the U.N., and is protected by many international treaties.

Why all the fuss over a plant? Simple. Ocean Mist is used in many, many medicins throughout the planet Nova Arcana, and has saved coutless many lives since it was first discovered in the late 1200's.
