Geography

Balthia borders Mayne on the north, Penalia on the east, Arcanda on the south west and Genosis on the south. It also borders the country Sorento on the west.

Balthia has many of the forests that Mayne and Penalia have, although some of them have been cleared away for farm land, of which is a big industry in the Province. Beef, pork and poultry are big exports, which generate large sums for the local economy.

There is one major lake in Balthia, called wizard lake. This lake is close to Uhura, and it is a major tourist attraction, which draws thousands every year.

Balthia is close to the caspian mountains, although none of them lie within Balthia. However, there are some big foothills in the south west corner of the province.

Miscellaneous

Balthia was the first province to ratify the new constitution.

The city of Uhura was named after a popular T.V. Character who was born in that particular city. The old name was 'Entwhistle'.

Sports

Balthia has two major sports teams, one for Hockey and one for football, both located in Foxboro: The Foxboro Lions (football) and the Foxboro Flames (Hockey).

Football

The Foxboro Lions entered the NFL in 1312, when the league was formed. They have never moved, or been sold. The first owner of the team willed the Lions to his son, who then willed them to his daughter, Etc. This way, the team has stayed in the family for some 108 years.

The Lions were the first ever winner of the Magnolia Trophy, winning it in 1312. However, the next two years they made the Magnolia Bowl, loosing to Crystal (1313) and Darwin (1314), respectivley. They then lost in the finals in 1323, 1330 and 1337 while winning in 1329, 1336 and 1349. The Lion's last championship (and Magnolia Trophy Game appearance) came in 1393, some 44 years later. They have not won since that time.

Hockey

The Foxboro Flames came into being in 1313 when the league was formed. They have the distinction of being the first looser of the Magnolia Cup.

They first won the Cup in 1316, and then in 1320, and 1329. They lost the Cup in 1328, 1330 and 1337.

The Flames won back-to-back championships from 1363-64. They lost to Edmonton in 1386, but won the next year over Phoenix. The next won in 1393 and 1395, but lost in 1394.

Phoenix got revenge, beating them in 1403, and Avalon beat them in 1406.
