Geography

Arcanda borders Penalia on the north; balthia on the north-east; Genosis on the west; Cerillia, Dover and Concordia on the south and Etheria on the very south-west. It also borders the country Ormany on the east.

Arcanda is the most northern province to have any of the Caspian mountains in its borders. These mountains contain some of the Nova Arcana's most beautiful waterfalls, hence it's nickname.

Parts of Arcanda have been designated National parks by the Federal Government, mostly the beautiful Caspian mountains. There are several valley's in Arcanada, and a couple of them contain fair sized lakes; these, along with the the beautiful forests attract many tourists to the area every year.

Miscellaneous

It was here, in Arcanda that a famous plane crash took place in 1410. This crash killed 217 people. This flight had originated in Pryxar with a stop in Memphis, on it's way to Kenysia. There was severe turbulence, and the plane crashed into the side of a mountain. Only one person survived.

Sports

Arcanda, currently, has two major sports teams, one for Hockey and one for football. They have had three major teams over the years, located in memphis and Ludlow.

Football

In the beginning, Arcanda had two teams in the NFL - Memphis and Ludlow. Up untill 1921, both teams enjoyed success in the league, makeing the finals several times each, and even facing off against each other in 1319, in a thrilling 29-27 Ludlow win.

Ludlow

Ludlow first made the finals in 1316 but lost to Cheyenne. They won the Magnolia Trophy for the only time in 1319 in a thrilling Battle-of-Arcanda final in which Ludlow won 29-27 with a last second field goal.

Ludlow lost the final the next year, 1320, to Darwin.

In 1921, with seven games to go, Ludlow was having a mediocre season at 9-6. They took the train (as they normally did) from Crystal, Cerillia back to Ludlow. The train hit a fallen tree, derailed and fell down an embankment. 167 people were killed, including all but two of the Ludlow Rangers (who were among the 27 survivors).

Memphis

The Memphis Devils entered the NFL in 1312, when the league was formed. They have never moved, or been sold.

Memphis made the finals in 1315 but lost to Cheyenne. Two years later they lost to Darwin. In 1319 they lost to provincial rivals Ludlow.

Memphis lost the finals in 1332, 1359 and 1391 while winning the Magnolia Trophy in 1335, 1348 and 1413.

Hockey

The Memphis Mauraders came into being in 1313 when the league was formed.

Memphis was the third team to make it to the finals (Monterray and Foxboro being the first) but lost in 1314 to Monterray. Memphis won the very next year, 1315, over Coral.

Memphis won again in 1327, 1356, 1369 and 1394. Memphis lost in 1322, 1332, 1338, 1353, 1362, and 1380.
