I closed my eyes and saw its face
Distorted in a horrible grimace
Prowling in the recesses of my mind
Destroying what it could find
Like a predator after its prey
A creature I cannot hold at bay
It taunts me wickedly
Making me think I can break free
But I turn around, it's always there
Following me everywhere
It hides under my bed
It dwells inside my head
Its eyes like two endless black wells
The mirror image of my personal hell
