The path of enlightenment came to me on my 18th year on this planet. I was a freshman attending Metro State College of Denver fulfilling an elective credit requirement, and I wound up in a philosophy class. I had a 10 page essay due on one of the of the topics discussed in the class and I was running out of ideas. Then one day while chilling out on campus I was flipping through the pages of Rolling Stone magazine and found an interesting Q & A story on David Bowie.  He said that when he was 14 he read Alan Wattts "The Way of Zen" and it changed his life. So I promptly went to a nearby bookstore on the 16th street mall and purchased the book.  I received an A on that essay and changed my life at the same time.  Since, I have read many of Alan Watts' books and have studied eastern thought full heartedly.  That book has changed my life in many ways as well......majors...zen center..thoughts and ideas..etc.
