Major Events!
These are events that mean something to me!
The Marching Band went to Boston for the Saint Patrick's Day parade. This photo of Alyssa and Heather dancing really sums up the whole trip: wild and spontanous. We went to a dinner the first day there, which was followed by a game show and then an hour of dancing. The next day we went to the JFK Library and Museum (and we were able to see the Boston skyline!), then we went to the parade which was SUPPOSED to be 3.2 miles but was more like six or seven. The next day we went to Lexington and Concord. Also, the little things made it memorable. Playing texas hold 'em with M&Ms, peeping on Bryce across the hall, through our peephole (he had a girl in his room! Of course we were going to spy!), trying to fix our broken TV, accidently hanging up on Kathy, phone tag, running to Heather's room and falling in through the doorway, doing my milkshake dance, and having drunk people dance for us (which none of my pictures of them turned out =( - I'm really disappointed)! It was such a memorable trip! =)
Happy Valentines Day! Today is the day when you show that certain special someone how much you care. However, you dont need a day to tell someone you love them. You dont need a certain date to give them flowers, or cards, or cook them dinner or call them and just say, Hi. For those of you with love, treasure it. For those of you wanting love, youll find it - keep searching. Happy Valentines Day!
w00t Some of my friends are involved in a Praise band! They rock! They change their name every month, last month was the Billiums! Little girls danced, we clapped, I almost spilled hot chocolate all over Heather! It was a grand time!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! I had everyone over for a Christmas bash! We exchanged gifts and after snacks we stole each others shoes and hide them or flung them outside. We had a very rainy-off-white Christmas!
In the fall the Academic English classes went on a trip to Canada! We went to see Medieval Times and (my favourite part) Casa Loma! Casa Loma is beautiful and Ill love to go again! I didnt get to see the gardens other than from the towers so I defiantly want to see those up close!
YAY! I got accepted into my first choice and ONLY choice school: Carlow University in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania! =D YAY!! Pittsburgh: Here I come!
