Still not sure if
MOMS CLUB of NE Philadelphia
is for you??
Top 8 reasons (who has time for 10?!?!)
Why We Joined the MOMS Club

Reason #8 You talked to the girl at the McDonalds drive-thru for 20 minutes just to get some adult conversation.
Reason #7 In effort to socialize your child, you've taken out a second mortgage to pay for all the Gymboree and music classes.
Reason #6 You're more excited than the kids when you hear, "Daddy's Home!"
Reason #5 You're no longer responsible for what you will do if one more person asks, "Aren't you bored staying at home?"
Reason #4 The last novel you read was RAINBOW FISH (and you were on the edge of your seat 'til the bitter end).
Reason #3 You're beginning to think "The Backyardigans" is the best drama on TV.
Reason #2 The five ugliest words in the English language - "I have to work late."
Reason #1 You've found yourself singing "The Wiggles" songs in your spare time (and you like them).
NOTE from Sibahan, Our Chapter President:

I made the decision to be a stay-at-home Mom, after I saw how quickly my 1st son was growing. When he was 6 months old, I left my career at a Market Research Company, to learn I was 6 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child. At first, it was fun to stay in PJ's all day, and not have to shower, unless going out, but then it started getting old.....

2 yrs later, I thankfully met someone who told me about MOMS Club, soon after I had my 3rd child. I was suffering from a depression after the loss of my 2nd child, and needed support.

My Oldest Son, was not old enough for School yet, but VERY intrested in some social time.  I was intrested in meeting some other moms, who knew what it was like to be a mom. To know I was not the only one that had a hard time managing time, a messy house, and never-ending chores!

My Friends from High school had all moved on, to college and careers. Juggling babysitters, and diapers were not the thing for them. You tend to grow apart from these people when they have to wait for you to go out and find a babysitter first.

After Joining the MOMS Club, it meant so much to me these past 2-3 yrs, that I recently stepped up to be President. I learned that Joining the club, made me feel like i was "working" again, and gave me alot to look forward to, instead of just my husband coming home. MOMS Club put structure in my family again, and the friends I have met, and resources other moms have offered are endless.

I am truly proud to be part of this club. Regret is NEVER part of my MOMS club Vocab! You have
nothing to loose going to one of our meetings. Just everything to gain! Lots of great women, lots of "mom" information,  social time for the kids, and you , and lots of goodies to eat!
