Print out our membership form, and mail it back to the address below, with your check ($20.00) payable to MOMS Club of NE Philadelphia. Send us an email letting us know to expect your papers, and we will forward you our calendar and club news!
You must live in the NE philadelphia areas listed below. If you are unsure, send us an email, we will determine which club is for you.
Bustleton, Byberry, Fox Chase, Mayfair, Somerton Pennypack/Academy, & West Torresdale.
*MOMS Club activities are for members only, but prospective members are welcome to attend two Member/business meetings before deciding to join. These are held on the 3rd Friday of each month at 10 am. If you are interested in attending. Please check with Membership VP (or email) to verify the location.
*Annual dues of $20 cover publishing the MOMS directory, monthly newsletter copies and postage, new member packets, various holiday parties, and other activities. A portion ($2) of each member's dues pays for international dues. We are an IRS-recognized non-profit organization, and any monies collected will be used exclusively for club programs and service projects.
* Dues are not meant to be a hardship for anyone - please contact a board member to have your dues waived or lowered. All information will be kept confidential and membership will not be denied to anyone based on ability to pay.
* All officers and group coordinators are volunteers and are not paid for any services.
*There are often infants and pregnant women in our group, so if you or one of your children has had any of the following symptoms within the last 48 hours, we ask that you not attend MOMS Club activities: diarrhea, vomiting, extreme lethargy, temperature of 100+, severe cough or pain, discharge from the eyes/nose, exposure to communicable disease or infections or rash, etc.
*Children are always welcome at all activites. Reguardless of your childs participation in the activity, this is a MOMS Club, for support of moms. However, you are responsible for your child(ren)'s behavior and saftey. Nursing Moms are always welcome!
* Yes we do have PART-TIME working moms also! If you work Part time, you are welcome to join also. We mostly hold all activites during the day, so if your schedule allows it, you are welcome to join. You will never "age out" of the club, although most of our moms have children, when they go to school full time and if you are still home, you are still welcome to join! We welcome Homeschoolers also!
