And when the angels, the sons of heaven,
beheld them, they became enamoured of them,
saying to each other, Come, let us select for
ourselves wives from the progeny of men,
and let us beget children.

Enoch 1: Chapter 7 Verse 2

2:1

The group of angels now in human form despised the earth, hated God, and vowed revenge upon mankind. They would seek out every human they could find and kill them. They traveled many days, walking through the desert. They came upon a man working in a field. The angel Samyaza told the others to stay behind while he approached. When the farmer saw the deformed giant nearing him he cried out to God.

“Lord God, please save me from this terrible demon!”

His prayer went unanswered, and Samyaza’s smile was toothless and drooling. His black gums glistened in the afternoon sun. The man stood shaking, paralyzed with fear.

“Get back devil, for the Lord God walks with me.”

“Nothing walks with you but death, little man.”

When the angelic giant closed the distance between them to ten cubits the farmer turned pale and fell to the ground. Samyaza knew immediately that this was not from fear. He could see the man’s spirit pushed out of its shell. The angel’s power over man had shown itself. The human flesh, in the presence of an angel, could not hold its etheric matter. This was a strength the giants would take full advantage of.

As the helpless man's body lay before him, Samyaza took a sharp stone and cut the head away from the neck. They had been in the wilderness for many days and were feeling the pain of hunger. They all gathered around the man and ate the meat from his bones.

One of the giants known as Zavebe could no longer submit to his earthly prison. He begged the others to kill him, and after much discussion, they agreed. They decided that he should go forth and tell Lucifer what had happened, and of their plans. They all took up large stones in their hands and beat him. His cries were heard for miles. It was not until his skull had been crushed that the astral energy left his body.

The remaining giants ate the flesh from the giant’s enormous frame. When their bellies were full they continued on the hunt for mankind. Zavebe returned to Hell and told Lucifer all that had come to pass.

Lucifer, hearing what had happened, was pleased. His plan was coming together even better than he had hoped. Two hundred of his brothers now walked among man.

God knew that his remaining angels were growing unsatisfied with the little attention he gave them. They all yearned for the time when they were his only companionship and love. His compassion for them led him out of the mundane world, into the astral plane. There he attended to the angels, trying to make the lost time up to them. His guilt subsided as they formed a new relationship together. He remained in the ethereal realm with his brothers for a hundred years.

With God occupied, the giants were free to do what they liked among man. He would not interfere. So with God in the heavens, the giants killed all men, women, and children they came upon.

Tales of giants traveled quickly among the people. They were said to be invincible warriors, great demons of terrible strength. Many prayers went unheard during that time. It was thought that God had forsaken them.

Men gathered together their strongest champions to seek out and kill the giants. None of them ever returned. They could not get near enough to them to cause any damage. Spears and stones that could be thrown from a distance could not pierce their leathery skin. A small scratch on the surface was the most that could be achieved. That only served to anger them more.

After a time the killing became a great game to the giants. They quite enjoyed surrounding a village, so not to permit escape, while two or three of them stomped through, destroying all they saw. The killing was always so easy. As soon as the humans got within ten cubits they would fall helpless, their souls driven out. The fallen ones would then simply walk up and bludgeon or stab them to death.

Men tried to fight back from a distance, but their ineffectual efforts were always mocked, just before their deaths. When the last man was killed, they would have a great feast, filling themselves with the meat of their prey. They would then set the place afire and travel on to the next slaughter.

The angel named Azkeel happened upon a group of women bathing in the river one day. They were laughing and talking and didn't notice him standing in the nearby bushes. Before any of them realized what had happened, he ran into the water between them, huge waves splashing from under his feet. They fell immediately spiritless and floated limply beside him. He dragged each one to the sandy bank. Three of the six women drowned before he pulled them out.

He sat staring at the naked bodies that lay before him. His lust grew as he looked them over. He did not leave the riverbank until he had raped them all. Of the three that had not drowned, two were crushed under his terrible weight. Their broken ribs pierced through their lungs and they were left to drown also, in their own blood. The one remaining bruised and with many broken bones, was now with child.

Many of the others began to give in to their lust for the earthly women. It was not long before nearly every female they encountered was raped and left to die or bear their children.

Because of the unusual size of the half-breed babies, all of the women died during the birth. The children were always male. They had the same leathery skin, sloped foreheads, and twisted black spines. Although they didn't grow to the extreme stature of their fathers, few stood less than three feet above the tallest men. Their strength went unmatched by all humans that came up against them. When they reached full maturity the angelic power to cast out men’s souls developed. The magic of the fallen ones had become the magic of their offspring.

The new demi-gods.

The Nephilim.

2:2

Jack’s astral energy floated lazily backwards away from his material body. He couldn’t believe how utterly comfortable he felt. No clothes were hanging from his body, no itchy tags against his neck. He had no feet on the floor supporting his weight, and no pressure on his back from a chair. He was completely weightless and unencumbered.

Looking down at his motionless body in front of him, he noticed something that seemed impossible. He was seeing the wall and the window behind him. He saw the desk at one side of him and the other wall too, clearly, all at once. His eyes didn’t hinder his vision anymore. He was seeing in 360 degrees. He could focus his attention in one direction, and still know what was happening directly behind him, without turning around.

Amazing.

He continued to drift backwards and he began to pass right through the wall. It felt like gently being lowered into a pool of water. Only he was the water being displaced by the wall. He could feel the sheet rock, the nails, the insulation and the metal siding as he went through. He found himself floating outside the house, in the yard. The grass was humming with a yellowish glow. A brighter, white fog surrounded the trees. A dog in the neighbor’s yard barked, its red energy bubbled and spat as it ran.

Then he saw a silvery light, not unlike his own, shining in his neighbor’s bedroom window. He wanted to take a closer look, and his astral body started across the fence, over the barking dog and directly to the bedroom. It felt slightly different going through that wall. They didn’t have metal siding.

Jack’s energy hovered at the side of their bed. His neighbors were Bob and Sheila Thompson. They were a twenty-something couple, and Jack and Stacey had been friends with them for almost two years. They both lay quietly sleeping in bed, Bob on his stomach, Sheila on her side. Bob had a purplish glow to his body, his astral self contained within. But Sheila’s was quite different. Her spirit floated directly above herself, connected by a bright white cord. The cord was attached to her physical body at the waist, and her astral body at the chest. Her spirit seemed to be as unconscious as she was. Jack looked down to see if he also had a cord connecting himself with his body. He did not.

Strange, he thought, Must be something to do with the necklace.

Stacey had a book about astral projection, and he had read a couple of chapters. It said during travel a person would always be attached to their body with a cord. This was because the astral matter would never entirely leave the body. Some energy would always stay behind. This apparently, was not the case when you used a stone bird to exit your body.

He considered going to check on himself, but decided not to just yet. His physical body would be just fine. The old woman said so. And after experiencing what he had so far, he no longer doubted her at all.

He flew straight up through the ceiling, into the open night sky.
