And the seventh angel poured out his vial
into the air; and there came a great voice
out of Heaven, from the throne,
saying, it is done.
Revelation: Chapter 16 Verse 17

9:1
God was energy, as was every angel in the universe dimensions. The astral substance was the only thing that existed in any universe. Mundane matter was only one form of that energy. All that any mortal had ever known, the earth, the sky, the planets and stars, were at one time part of an entity they knew as God. To form creation, he took from the only power source he had, himself. He had separated his own power to create a new world. In doing so he had made himself weaker.
And on the Seventh day, God rested.
Also, with every miracle he performed on Earth or otherwise, he became less than what he once was. He had become so much weaker in fact, that he and Lucifer were almost equal in strength. Lucifer, made up of similar astral energy, was also a God. For a deity was only an angel with the power of creation and manipulation. The lower angels could not be classified as anything more than demi-gods, due to a lack of concentrated astral might. They controlled some manipulation magic, but it was limited to each individuals energy structure. They did very in strength. Every angel was not created equal.
Lucifer (being second only to God) found that, as time went by, the differences between them had become less and less. The once Master and servant were now peers.
When God fused Lucifer with Hells spiral he used up the last energy he could afford to separate. He had, in effect, trapped himself. He could no longer interfere in human activities; he could only watch from a distance if he wanted to remain the dominant power in the astral universe.
Just as Gods adversary had been bound to Hell, so had the devils talisman been bound with the earth. He had used very powerful magic in melding the necklace and the scripture to the mundane realm. God could no more destroy them than Lucifer could escape from his torment.
The threat of the dark Messiah would exist as long as the world was in existence. The devils magic had intertwined with the mundane universe, and all of humanity. It lived in the small spaces between us all, waiting.
9:2
Sally scrambled to her feet. Linda was still lying on the floor, trying to tighten the tourniquet. Sally pounced on top of her.
A shriek.
An arm pinned under a hard knee.
Biitch!
Kicking.
She pushed her open hand forcefully into Lindas face. The back of her head made a crack sound against the floor. A hand emerged from the shadows beside her. When it entered the dim light Sally could see that her grandmother was gripping the pistol.
She gasped.
Leaning over, she grabbed Lindas wrist shoving the hand and the gun down. With her right arm loose, the old woman punched her across the jaw. Sally could taste the blood as she fell over. When she spun around the cold metal was pushed against her forehead, scraping her skin. She froze.
Linda forced a painful smile, Ive got you now, you little cunt.
Killiens eyes were lit up with amusement.
He walked closer, You ladies sure know how to throw a party.
She spoke to him without looking his direction.
Her eyes stayed on the girl, Would you like me to kill her, my love?
Sally tried to swallow, but couldnt.
He clasped his small hands together in front of him with anticipation, No. Ive got special plans for her.
She felt sick. Her heart pounded like a machine gun. Sweat and tears ran freely down her face. Sally had once again found herself in the same room with a killer. Only this time, there was no yellow nylon rope holding him back.
He was free to do as he pleased.
9:3
The brilliant blue entity stopped Jack. It held him powerfully from chasing his son.
Let go of me! I have to go. I have to
Its haze was blinding, blocking the path.
Christopher!
The giant entity held him in place. It spoke to him.
You must confront the dark one.
Jack sobbed, NoNo.
In the distance he saw a crack of lightning break through the sky. It flashed bright white. It got bigger with the second crash. With the third it did not fade away. It remained. Something was pushing its way into the mundane world. The white jagged line in the blackness sat crackling in the distance with Jack staring into it. It began to open.
A huge explosion poured through the lightning, ripping the crack wider over the horizon. The multi-colored fire blasted around in circles, feeding back into itself. Its low rumble vibrated Jacks astral matter and bit at his ethereal skin.
Inside the house, Killien could feel it too. He threw open the front door and stepped into the cold. He called out to the creator of the world hed hated his whole life.
So, you have come to witness my re-birth. he paused to laugh, How appropriate that God has shown up for the beginning of his own end!
The explosion answered with thunder that shook the entire universe. For a few seconds every being in existence felt the searing charge of Gods anger. Jacks energy sucked up into a ball in the wake of the electric pain. Killien, master of the black communion and the eater of souls, dropped to his knees in agony. The thunder subsided slowly and he got back up to his feet, slowly.
You are powerless! You can do nothing! Lucifers magic has seen to that! I have beaten you!
The cloud of light became silent. It stayed where it was, watching from a distance. Jack flew toward it.
Do something, please! Help us!
The bright blue spirit was with Jack. The angel of God spoke again.
He cannot fight this battle. You are his sword and shield. Only you can defeat the dark one.
Jack was furious. He couldnt believe that God wasnt going to help them.
Are you just going to sit there and do nothing? What kind of God are you?
He stopped his approach.
I hate you!
God remained silent. He could only watch.
Jacks son was gone. His wife lay bleeding, possibly dying. Sally could do nothing. Jack had become saturated with guilt and fear. He was exhausted.
Weak.
Powerless.
He hated himself for what he had done.
Jacks Armageddon would have to start from within.
9:4
The terrible storm raged on. There was at least a foot of snow on the ground and in some places twice that much, where it had drifted up into the glistening hills of white.
The windows in the front room were completely covered over with frost. Very little light found Sallys silhouette in the corner. She was shivering. The temperature in the house had dropped down to forty degrees with the howl freely entering both the kitchen and bedroom windows. The heater had been running for more than a half-hour, but couldnt keep up with the violation of outside air.
Linda kept a careful eye on Sally and only glanced out to the yard once, where Killien was standing. Shed heard him yelling a few minutes earlier. She couldnt hear what hed said but she had heard the voice just the same. She held tight to the pistol keeping it aimed in her captives direction.
A sound.
The doorknob.
Powerful wind filled the room as the door opened. Killien walked in. The six-year-old had to push hard against the storms blast to close the door. He turned calmly, peering into the dark shadowed corner.
Alright Sally, lets play, he hissed with a grin.
Her frantic breathing stopped to say, Fuck you!
Her defiance pleased him. He knew that shortly her pain would please him even more. He wished that he had a circle of seven to perform the ritual. He would have loved to eat her up, devour her. But he did not. Hed have to settle for a slow death.
He headed to the kitchen in search of cutlery. The girl that had tied him up and defied him in the bookshop watched as he shuffled through the silverware drawer. She was still standing up to him, mocking his glory with her fuck you attitude. That could not go unpunished. Numerous knives clanged on the linoleum before he was satisfied.
Ah he whispered, pulling out a nice sharp one.
The blade was perfect, razor thin and smooth. He smiled, turning back toward her. That was the part he loved the most. The slick blood on his hands, the feeling of power and control.
Yes, she had angered him.
And for that, he was going to show Sally her intestines.
