Follow-up message from Jim Bates, Oct. 22:

As stated in the message the site will be developed in stages with the first being east of Montgomery Street e.g. B96,B196,and B396. Little or no work will be done to the last two; however, quite a bit is needed for B96 and I do not know what that entails. The rest of the property needs to be cleaned up which is happening at present and will continue for another year to two years depending on what is found and the weather. The conceptual plan is to have approximately 10 90,000 sq. ft. buildings on site as a R&D/T site each building will have labs/offices. This will take any where from five to ten years depending on demand and the economy. The three buildings mentioned above will be kept for the foreseeable future. Building 81 will stay for the time being but B240 and B90, 94 will be taken down within 2002.

That's all I've heard and this could have already changed.
