W A R

Blistered lips, sweat stinging thine eyes
Mushroom cloud has you mesmerized

Belly to ground, Slithering like snake
Beneath my body the earth starts to quake

Sirens wailing, fall out and take cover
The smoke in the air so thick it could smother

The sound of clips shot through darkened bells
Watching men die by shotgun shells

Dirty faces hiding behind forest trees
Innocents crying and ignored pleas

Bullets flying, aimed to kill
Some of these men, mysteriously ill

Fear strikes my heart from what I see
Heat seeking missles coming for me

Duck and run, thrust into a pit
It misses me and there I sit

Out of breath, my body is numb
Knowing that I will not succumb

I load up my uzi, and my shotgun too
grenades on my belt shall wait for my cue

Across my chest, bullets are strapped
Shot of my gun, another one capped

A whole line stands, staring me down
Too many to fight, too many around

I pull from my side a grenade full of sin
With my pearly whites, I pull out the pin

I Toss it to them and run from there
The grenade exploded with uproarious glare

They're taken out and my hands have now killed
My tainted soul the blackness has filled

Stains on my hands of crimson red blood
A pain in my heart, my eyes start to flood

I make a vow, to keep it I strive
If I get out of this alive

Never again will I ever submit
I swear of this upon holy writ

For now I stay and do this act
To slay mine enemy, to painfully attack

My fear stricken heart is painfully sore
Engulfed within the rages of war
