ONE TINY BITE |
COWRITTEN WITH STEPHEN FLEMING |
A display of white silken thread while trapping a tiny insect there which has long since been dead She wraps it very neatly inside a small cocoon but this act doesn't really matter since she'll be eating it soon Her minute body is black and her many eyes are dark a petite crimson hourglass is her only birthmark She weaves her lovely web in the mustiest of places she's very deadly and lethal with her extreme poisonous traces She crawls down from her web on a search for more food her horrid ways of killing prey are violent, lascivious and lewd As she travels on her way with her eight legged propulsion comes a threat to her way of life the danger of a sudden commotion The constant banter of footfalls echo throughout the room human feet falling upon the floor could send her to her doom She scurries quickly out of harms way while almost meeting her maker but to her shock and very surprise the good lord did not forsake her She crawls up into a sleek black boot to hide from her enemies near when all of a sudden comes along the very thing of which she has fear She sees this harm which could befall her with no place to run and hide As she spots her only escape light shining through a slit in the side She scurries to this rather quickly and without a second to lose knowing that if she doesn't make this fast she could be squished into ooze A foot slips into the long velvet boot Completely oblivious and unaware of what dangers lie in wait inside one sole of the pair The owner of the shoes starts to feel a tickle inside her long and dark skirt then suddenly feels one tiny bite As she cringes because it had hurt. She wonders what could be on her leg What could have bitten her then? Her head becomes laden with dizziness as she collapses right there in her den The spider is left to go on with its life while another one's time is done can you believe the irony of that? looks like the bad guy has won.
