These plants are Annuals (only live a year) and Biennials (can live up to 2 years) which bloom during Mid summer to early fall
Grown for their beautiful White clustered flowers and pleasant smell, these are short lived plants which are generally treated as an annual. Heliotrope make very nice container plants and are great in a mixed border. In hotter climates, give part shade. Everywhere else, full sun. They like average amounts of water with the soil a sandy loam or clay loam. Their width is 12 - 18 inches.
