DECADENT DOMINATION |
~*~ Born into this world dying Incessant sobs of peasants crying Mouths of beasts that sit here lying Is more than my sanity can withstand Darkened citadel, my sacred prison Apathy and belligerance I envision Angered soul, complete division The wrath of temperance I demand ~*~ My hands lie fixed upon this chair My presence known, yet not quite there Take me completely unaware With words your thoughts uttered aloud Mine ears are awake and they listen Waterfalls in thine eyes doth glisten In two parts, something is missin Your true intentions do you shroud ~*~ This taste of you upon my tongue The poisoned wrath of arrows stung An older notion, these thoughts are young Another fantasy like those before My soul still sings this crime Scribed all over this pitiful shrine Bound and gagged with ropes and twine Lacerations in my mind are sore ~*~ Take your hands and make me whole Heal this decayed and rotten soul Lay down the law, for I seek control Sculpt me into a perfect notion Put my pieces back together Break these chains and angry fetter Make my broken self all better Using only thy true emotion ~*~ Hold me for I cannot stand my own Other souls about, yet so utterly alone Enslaving me I will not condone Brooding and so full of doom Grasping for the right sentiment to say For my mistakes I shall now pay The devil has had his own way Buried in my eternal tomb. ~*~ BACK TO POEMS |
