A HOLE IN THE SKY
I awake in the middle of the night
something outta place...
something is not right
I walk down the road in my nightgown
one step at a time
over the shaky ground
Catching a frog in my hands
slippery and slimy
he falls back to the land
back to the reeds you go amphibian
the night sky
black like obsidian
The stars twinkle seeming to wink
A dream for sure
or at least I think
I pinch myself to awaken
nothing happens
my being forsaken
The water lies still and quiet
deception atop its waters
underneath is a riot
The sky falls.. a little chunk
A piece of heaven in my hand
into the still water it sunk
I can see Venus up with the stars
burning bright blue
right next to mars
An spaceship flies at a high speed
down to the earth
with a repetitive creed
I beg them to take me on a wild chase
They will me to them
my mind erased
I awaken again on a broken arrow
the slits in my skin
are tattered and narrow
I walk on my way, looking at the orifice
where the sky used to be
where the atmosphere kissed
Thinking that someone should sew it closed
before the stars leak down
Where the planets composed
I walk to my house along the river bed
my head is feeling flighty
my feet full of lead
Into my bed I fall
sleepiness in me stirs
once and for all
That night I dont dream of a quest
I have returned to reality
Profoundly impressed
